The Dept of Public Health - State of Connecticut Licensing Center has established the following CE criteria for each license category:

LPC CE - Courses which are provided by approved NBCC CE Providers are acceptable. We are NBCC CE Provider #6338, and therefore credits for all of our courses are acceptable. 15 hours annually. No restriction on number of hours taken online through an internet based course.

MFT CE - Courses which are provided by approved NBCC CE Providers are acceptable. We are NBCC CE Provider #6338, and therefore credits for all of our courses are acceptable. 15 hours annually. No restriction on number of hours taken online through an internet based course.

LCSW CE - Regarding CE for Social Workers:

"Such continuing education shall consist of courses, workshops and conferences offered or approved by the Association of Social Work Boards, the National Association of Social Workers or a school or department of social work accredited by the Council on Social Work Education Boards or other nationally recognized organization that demonstrates to the department that their standards are substantially similar."

Therefore all of our courses should meet the criteria established by the State of Connecticut for Social Workers:

Our courses are approved by multiple State Social Work Licensing Boards (California, Texas, Alabama, and Florida), ALL OF WHICH ARE MEMBERS OF THE ASSOCIATION OF SOCIAL WORK BOARDS. We are also nationally accredited by the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) and by the international Employee Assistance Certification Commission (EACC). We also are nationally accredited by an IC&RC Member Board (Texas Certification Board of Addiction Professionals-TAAP).

PLEASE NOTE: The State's regulations for Social Workers place a restriction on how many credit hours may be taken through Online and Home Study Programs: "A licensee's ability to engage in online and home study continuing education shall be limited to not more than six hours per registration period."

SUMMARY FOR SOCIAL WORKERS: We suggest that if you have any concerns whatsoever about our course acceptability status, that you contact your board. You may wish to tell your board that we are pre-approved and licensed for online CE by the following entities:
