Board of Mental Health Counselors/Marriage & Family Therapists is an affiliate of the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) and accepts courses approved by NBCC

A MINIMUM of twenty (20) of the forty (40) credits of continuing education shall be completed within Category 1, Formal Programs, which includes web-based offerings.

Social Workers: The Rhode Island state board does accept our online course credits, per paragraph 6.6 of the Continuing Education regulations in the Rhode Island statute.

The basis for acceptance is the fact that all courses on our site are approved by four state boards of social work, for whom we are a licensed CE Provider, i.e., Texas, California, Florida. Thr RI state board also accepts online continuing education programs.
