LICENSED COUNSELORS AND LMFT: CEU By Net is an approved online Continuing Education Provider (ACEP #6338), for the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC), of which the Oklahoma Division of Professional Counselor Licensing is a member. We are also an approved CE Provider for most behavioral health licenses in most states nationwide. HOWEVER, in April 2021, the OK Board for LPCs and LMFTs announced that all internet-based (computer-delivered) courses must be individually approved by the Board in order to be approved for CE Credit - submitted on individual forms for this purpose by the CE provider. We have not done this, although we may in the future apply - at least for some of our courses. We offer more than 185 credit hours on our site.

In the past, anyone (including the licensee) could submit a course description to the board for approval. Our certificates contain all the goals of the course as well as the authors and publishers and credit hours, which was sufficient in the past. But this is no longer the case if what we read on the Board's website is accurate.

SOCIAL WORKERS: With the 2014 modifications of the rules for Social Work CE in Oklahoma, we are not certain of our status with your board. CEU By Net is a licensed, certified, and/or preapproved CE Provider for multiple ASWB STATES: Therefore, Oklahoma Social Workers MAY be able to take our courses for CE Credit, but we are NOT certain of this.

We recommend that you check with your state board to ask if courses provided by CE Providers who are licensed/certified by ASWB Member Boards are acceptable to provide CE Credit. In the majority of states, this is in fact the case.
