State Approvals For Nevada

 

• ALCOHOL COUNSELORS:  CEU By Net meets the criteria for continuing education credit as set forth in this section of Nevada's State regulations for acceptability of Continuing Education courses: 

.... CE includes as acceptable ....  'A course or program of education related to alcohol and drug abuse counseling, addiction, codependency or other issues related to the practice of counseling alcohol and drug abusers will be deemed as being approved by the board as a course of continuing education if the course or program of education has been approved by: (g) Any other similar occupational licensing board in another state, territory, protectorate or the District of Columbia.' 

We are a licensed CE provider for the Texas Certification Board of Addiction Professionals (TCB-TCBAP) and Texas Association of Addiction Professionals (TAAP), #1877-12.  We are also licensed as a mental health CE provider in Florida, and all of our course credits are accepted by the Florida Certification Board for addiction professionals based on our preapprovals by IC&RC and NAADAC. 

• PROFESSIONAL COUNSELORS AND MFTs: The Nevada State Board for Counselors and MFTs may limit distance learning to a specified number of hours per year (e.g., half of your annual credits), and therefore please check with your applicable Nevada licensing board for any current limitation on number of hours of distance hours allowed.  All of our online course content meets the Nevada requirement that courses must be 'specifically pertaining to the field of practice of the marriage and family therapist or clinical professional counselor'.  

  CEU By Net's online courses are approved by NBCC, EACC-EAPA, NAADAC, and IC&RC the for continuing education credit. and is licensed for online CE for Counselors and MFTs by the State Boards of Texas, Florida, and California.
