For LMHCs:
The Massachusets Board of Registration of Allied Mental Health and Human Services Professionals states that CE Sponsors 'may include, but are not limited to, colleges and universities, professional institutes, other workshop providers, and other professional training organizations.' The National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC) is stipulated as an approved source of Continuing Education for LMHCs. We are NBCC ACEP #6338. Our course credits are accepted by the MA board. Unless the restriction which limits the number of hours you may take online has been modified due to Covid or for other reasons, you can take only 50% of your required course hours online.
For LMFTs:
The Board states that it accepts CE courses and credits which are approved by the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT). The AAMFT has historically stated that it accepts CE courses approved by its member states including the States of Texas, California, and Florida -- all of whom accept and approve CEU By Net as an approved CE Provider for LMFTs. in Texas. You may wish to check with your Board regarding acceptablity of these credentials. Unless the restriction which limits the number of hours you may take online has been modified due to Covid or for other reasons, you can take only 50% of your required course hours online.
For SOCIAL WORKERS:
The State Board in Massachusetts automatically approves our courses for CE Credit for Social Workers, per published rules:
(2) Approval by Recognized Entity – A continuing education course or program, OTHER THAN an individual continuing education activity approved for credit pursuant to 258 CMR 31.04(4) below, MAY ABE USED to satisfy the continuing education requirements set forth in 258 CMR 31.03(1) ONLY IF it has been reviewed and approved by a RECOGNIZED ENTITY, as defined in 258 CMR 31.02 above. A CONTINUING EDUCATION COURSE OR PROGRAM SHALL BE DEEMED TO HAVE BEEN APPROVED BY A RECOGNIZED ENTITY IF:

b. The course or program has been reviewed and approved by ASWB as an Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program;
c. The course or program has been APPROVED FOR continuing education credit by a GOVERNMENTAL AGENCY IN ANY OTHER STATE, province, territory or political subdivision of the United States or Canada WHICH IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION OF SOCIAL WORKERS.
NOTE: We are approved by other State Boards for examination and licensure of Social Workers (TX, FL).
For SUBSTANCE ABUSE COUNSELORS:
As seen on the Commonwealth of Massechusets website pertaining to Continuing Education for Substance Abuse Counselors, there are a number of regulatory organizations which are automatically recognized as approved sources of continuing education, and CEU By Net is a licensed CE Provider for several of them. You can take every course on our website for Massachusetts credit.
