State Approvals For Maine

The Maine Board of Counseling Professionals is an affiliate of NBCC. All of our courses (NBCC approval #6338) meet the published Continuing Education requirements for the following Maine licences:

Licensed Professional Counselors,
Licensed Professional Counselor-Conditional (LPC-C)
Licensed Clinical Professional Counselors,
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists,
Licensed Pastoral Counselors

SOCIAL WORKERS - The Maine DEPARTMENT OF PROFESSIONAL AND FINANCIAL SERVICES' BOARD OF SOCIAL WORKER LICENSURE defines continuing education as "continuing professional education directly related to the practice of social work". OUR COURSES MEET THESE REQUIREMENTS. Board allows licensee to submit CE credits for courses which have not been pre-approved based upon compliance with this definition. 10 hours of distance learning are allowed per renewal period.
