NOTE for all:  PA regulations limit 'home study' to 20 hours.  HOWEVER, our courses are NOT TRADITIONAL HOME STUDY.  It is Interactive Electronic Computer-Based Learning.  Here is specific information about how our interactive online program works:

    •      Unlike 'Traditional Home Study' or 'Independent Study' or 'Correspondence Courses', CEU By Net DOES_NOT mail out or fax or otherwise transmit CDs or DVDs or tapes or books or any other type of printed course materials.  We also don't mail out or fax or publish quiz materials which can be independently completed and returned to us by fax or mail or email.
     • CE activity on our site is performed online in an INTERACTIVE manner, with all actions recorded in 'real time', to the second.  Quizzes are electronically recorded, scored, and stored in a data base ....  including the answers you give and the questions you miss and how many attempts were required to pass the quiz.
The Interactive Quizzes must be completed ONLINE.  When you have passed a quiz, we immediately and automatically tell you – online – which questions you missed if any, AND the incorrect answer you gave, AND the correct answer to the question you missed.  This is particularly important in multiple choice questions, because we want you to know which answer was correct among the 4 or 5 choices.
The immediate post-quiz feedback as to correct answers of questions you missed is quite critical in meeting the criteria for 'interactive electronic learning'.
    •      We electronically record when you have successfully COMPLETED the course through passing the electronically administered quiz or quizzes, and that information is documented on your course certificate (e.g., Course 4B Completed_12-05-2013 06:07 AM CST).
    •    Your intra-quiz activity is also electronically monitored and stored in a data base, including how many tries were needed to pass the quiz.
No state which has certified our CE program has considered our program to be a 'correspondence course' or 'independent study' or 'home study' in the traditional sense.

However, if you don't already know, you may want to check with your board to determine if their 20-hour limitation applies to INTERACTIVE ELECTRONIC COMPUTER-BASED COURSES such as those offered by CEU By Net. This will determine whether you can earn ALL of your credit hours here on our website vs. only 20.
